Course in Toxicology

Institute of Environmental Medicine, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden
November 30 - December 4, 2009

Do you need training in toxicology?
- As a basis for future training, work or research in health risk assessment?
- As a complement to your main area of expertise?

The objective of this course is to provide a broad toxicological basis
at a high level for further studies, work or research in the fields of
toxicology, health risk assessment or adjacent areas.

The course is intended for PhD students, post docs, senior scientists
and professionals from authorities and industry/companies. Course fee
for participants from industry/companies and authorities is 500
euro/5000 SEK.

The course is organised by the Postgraduate programme in Environmental
Factors and Health at the Institute of Environmental Medicine (IMM),
Karolinska Institutet. IMM has organised education in toxicology at
the master and research levels for more than 30 years. In this course
research students and professionals study together, a combination
which has been proven very successful in previous risk assessment courses
organised in collaboration with the EU-projects CASCADE and RA-COURSES.
