GUIDE TO THE CRAY XT4
This page is the main entry point to the support pages of the Cray XT4 system at Parallab. Answers to many frequently asked questions can be found here. We will do our best to keep these pages up-to-date. Please read and consult these support pages regularly, especially when you have just started using the machine.
The name of the Cray XT4 system is:hexagon.bccs.uib.no
The system is available to staff and students from the University
of Bergen, Unifob AS (Uni Research AS), researchers that obtained quota through the
NOTUR
programme, staff and students from the
Institute of Marine Research
(Havforskningsinstituttet).
In addition, the system is available to Parallab partners through EU
and other projects.
User support. Questions and problems can be reported to support-uib@notur.no or the email-alias hpc-support@hpc.uib.no and they will be handled as soon as possible. Working hours are approximately Monday-Friday 08:00-16:00.
